Seeing the sights, absorbing the sounds and enjoying new flavors has always been of interest to me. After college my first adventures were as a Delta Airlines Flight Attendant. Traveling on my own took me to Asia, Africa, Europe and Central America.

After marrying and having children, I turned my talents to being a program coordinator as a profession, and often as a volunteer as well. Now as an "empty nester" my love of "Far Off Places" has guided me to work as a home based travel agent. It's great fun to help people plan a special trip. It also keeps me learning the latest in the travel world. I take many classes and have the Accredited Cruise Counselor from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association).

Karyn McKnight MCC & Tom Egrie

Hi! My name is Karyn McKnight and this is my partner Tom Egrie. We live in Washington State and I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years. I am certified as an MCC (Master Cruise Counselor) with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and have been happily associated with TerraMar Travel, Inc. since 2000.

After a year of training Karyn began training other home based travel agents and has made many long lasting and great friends along the way. Many of the trainings were on cruises in all parts of the world with outstanding tours. Karyn loves to cruise and in 2000 met Tom who likes to cruise too – even after 30 years in the Navy. Luxury cruising is much better than Navy ships!

Karyn specializes in Great NorthWest travel sites, California and Hawaii locations, and Cruises to Anywhere but will put together any kind of travel --- just tell her what you want.

Karyn has 4 grown children and nine grandchildren. Tom has 4 grown children and four grandchildren. Whew – what a group!

Currently taking care of Karyn’s 91 year old mother keeps us closer to home but just find us a sitter and we are ready to go.

Linda Prewitt

When Linda was 6 days old, she flew to Chicago, and she has been traveling ever since!

Linda has been selling travel since 2006, but has been participating in travel for her entire life. As a child, she traveled across the United States with her family; as a young adult she sought out other continents. Linda learned research skills while earning her BA and MA in history and education, and she utilizes those skills during every vacation she plans for her clients. Having taught school for 30 years has made her very detail oriented, and the trip she plans for you will reveal that skill.

An automobile accident left Linda’s daughter in a wheelchair at 16. Linda has been successfully designing trips for her since 2002, which have included Alaska; Venice, Italy; Greece; Mexico; and the Caribbean. All of those places were reported to be “challenging” to those in wheelchairs. Linda found a way to make those trips possible and suggests that if you are in a wheelchair, you should speak to her if you want to travel.

A firm believer in Mark Twain’s adage, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. Donna Dowden

Donna Dowden began traveling as a child with her family throughout California and Hawaii. After she married, and again visited Hawaii, she realized that her desire to travel was always going to be with her. Having traveled extensively, she is now assisting others as a Travel Professional. Zip-lining through the jungle canopy on Kauai, snorkeling off a private motu in French Polynesia, watching the sunset from the top of the Eiffel Tower, and strolling down the ancient marble streets of Ephesus in Turkey—she has experienced many memorable moments.
